The municipality of Miękinia – a symbol of development and modernity
The municipality of Miękinia is becoming a symbol of development and modernity right before our eyes. With the construction of Intel’s new plant, among other projects, the municipality is experiencing a civilizational leap in sanitation, road, communication, and educational infrastructure.
Funding for Miękinia municipality underway
Tax revenues from the large plant are expected to increase soon, and currently, government sources are already funding road, water, and educational investments. The Intel factory in Kadłub is the driving force behind these changes, but all residents will benefit.
The government has allocated over 410 million PLN for the development of Miękinia’s economic subzone. This amount is unparalleled compared to any other municipality’s funding. Known for his good management, Mayor Jan Marian Grzegorczyn states that to prepare for the establishment of such a large plant, many areas of the municipality’s functioning have moved forward. “We strive to reconcile economic development with the needs of the residents,” he adds.
Water and sewage investments
Last year, the Miękinia municipality faced water availability issues, particularly during the summer, which ultimately prompted concrete actions. In response, the grant was allocated for building a sewage treatment plant and expanding the water supply network to improve the situation. Thanks to these investments, the new water treatment plant in Kadłub is now operational, and residents have stopped reporting water availability issues.
Further well drilling, well construction, and pipeline projects are planned. “We aim to ensure a constant water supply for the plant while maintaining the continuity of water supply for the local community,” explains the mayor.
Miękinia municipality and transportation infrastructure
The roads around the industrial park will be used by the factory, residents, and visitors. Plans include increasing road capacity through the expansion of existing and new lanes and roundabouts. “We plan a bike path, sidewalks, parking lots, and greenery,” lists J. M. Grzegorczyn. The newly constructed Krępice bypass will feature lighting, a telecommunication channel, and drainage. Up to 15 million PLN is allocated for the so-called Multimodal Transfer Hub in Miękinia, a place connecting rail, car, bus, and bike transport.
Center for integration and innovation in Kadłub
This project is aimed at residents, featuring a community center, scientific and research workshops, and a recreational area. The facility will host events integrating the local community and equalizing access to education and culture outside the big city.
For the youngest residents of Miękinia municipality
Considering the development of suburban areas, we immediately focus on the Miękinia municipality. Apartments for sale in this location quickly find their owners, creating a need for educational and childcare facilities for the youngest residents.
The expansion of the nursery in Lutynia is already planned (50 additional places by July 2025) as well as the SP school in Lutynia. A completely new school in Wilkszyn will accommodate nearly 1,000 children. The building project includes 33 classrooms and an underground sports complex. Special programs for grades 4-8 in the SP school in Lutynia, a mathematics-informatics profile class, and an educational collaboration between Miękinia and Wrocław (with Wrocław University of Science and Technology) for projects at every education level are proposals for older children.
Residential investments in the Miękinia municipality area
As a respected Wrocław developer, we are conducting two interesting development projects in the Miękinia and Lutynia areas: “Winnica Nowa Miękinia” and “Zielona Lutynia.” We offer new apartments that are ideal for those looking for their first home or those who want to change their current residence.
In Nowa Winnica Miękinia, you will find an intimate estate of multi-family buildings surrounded by green fields, providing peace and contact with nature. In Zielona Lutynia, we offer an estate consisting of 8 low-rise residential buildings located near the picturesque Ratyński Forest, ensuring both proximity to nature and easy access to the center of Wrocław.
